Water in boot

Hi ppl,

My mother has a 2003 Fabia 1.2 hatchback, which has an anoying water leak in the boot area, leaving the carpet and spare wheel well more than damp, the car is still under warranty, anybody any ideas where the water is getting in at??

Re: Water in boot

if the rear washer works ok , check the aperture seal as mine weeps slightly after heavy rain but never enough to fill the spare wheel well

Hi Lummox, the washer pipe seems ok, the water appears in the boot after really heavy rain which up here in Cumbria is nearly all the time, it is booked into our local Skoda dealership for them to have a look at, but because I dont trust that Garage to carry out an appropriate repair (ive had dealings with them and my own vrs) I was just looking for some points to look out for.
