| Briskodian | What type of oil to use? Mineral 15/40 or Semi-synthetic 10/40 I bought some oil recently from a local garge (not the dealer) and they said that for a Fabia 2000 1.4 8V it requires Semi-synthetic 10/40. So I bought some.  I was just about to change the oil when a friend told me that his Skoda dealer put Mineral 15/40 in his Fabia.  Anybody got any recommendations whats it's supposed to be?  Thanks.  |

| Re: What type of oil to use? Mineral 15/40 or Semi-synthetic 10/40 Semi Synth 10/40 or semi synth 15w40 oils should suit your Fabia I'm using semi synth 15w40 magnatec at the mo but am changing to 10w/40 semi synth (not magnatec)
