The cheaper one must come without an engine, as its got no horsepower at all!

Hmm, I think that the list is mis-typed. It should read:-

vRS 1.9TDI PD 130bhp
vRS 1.9TDI 130bhp

Elsewhere on the website one lists as being PD engine and the other not. If that is true I would imagine that the non-PD engine is slightly less fuel-effecient or slightly less torquey, however, from the tech information supplied on the site and vRS microsite it's difficult to ascertain this. I do take the Skoda website with a pinch of salt. It's not always up-to-date and there are generally grammar errors from conversion in Czech.

Would £130 be correct amount of difference for two very similar engines?

Regards,

so that confirms a definite mistake on the website then.

We've got to think about £130 then? minus a CD player? no heated seats? Smaller wheels? Unless they're being sneaky - labelling an SDI engine as a TDI engine.

Regards,

It's got to be a tryping error. May be some one updated the list and forgot to delete other entries?

It's not just the vRS - several models are duplicated on the list. For instance:
Classic 1.9 SDI 64bhp £9547 £9700
Classic 1.9 SDI £8947 £9100

This has a bigger price difference though - £600 on the road.

The different values are the price minus Excise duty & Reg fee, for company car tax / allowance purposes i would think...

Quote:
The P11D value is the RRP less the Vehicle Excess Duty - VED and first registration fee.

I thought the P11D difference was between the last two columns.

I think it's just plain confusing.

Not that it matters really, cause if you order a new car you would "haggle a deal" in anycase. (hopefully!)

There was also an offer of free air-con on most Fabias (with free cruise control on Elegance spec). Has that finished now?
