Parkers say :

Cost New ('04) £ 11972
Franchised Dealer £ 8680
Independent Dealer £ 8305
Private Good £ 8005
Private Poor £ 6340
Part Exchange £ 7475

for a 20,000mile car, so you can take a bit more off for the mileage

Re: What's it worth?

If I asked £7000 for it would i be far off the mark? Or is that too low/high?

Thanks for the help!

Re: What's it worth?

2004 models with 30,000 miles appear to be going for £9,000 - but that's from dealers?

EDIT: Just found a 2003 model with 64,000 miles being sold for £7,800, again from a dealer (don't think it's a franchised delaer though). Is there a definitive answer to this or is it a case of put a price on and see what happens?!

Re: What's it worth?

From Glass's guide.

Vehicle summary

Skoda Fabia vRS
1.9TD Diesel 5-door Hatchback
6 Speed Manual Front Wheel Drive
Year: 2004 04
Mileage: 63,000

Estimated value of your car

Part-exchange Price:
Excellent condition:
£6480
Average condition:
£5860
Below average condition:
£5210

I'd suggest advertising it at £7500 with the intention of accepting £7k and see how it goes

Re: What's it worth?

If you're selling privately then I'd ask £7,500 and see what happens. As the car is out of warranty you may well have to drop nearer to £6,750 before it sells.
