| Wheels and power/torque Just a quickie: I've got the stock 16" alloys on the Fabia vRS and am planning for mods and a remap to about the 175-180bhp area. Will the standard wheels be able to cope with the increased power and torque? Or will I be better off upgrading to 17 inchers to provide better grip? (I use Toyo tyres.) Thanks! |

| Re: Wheels and power/torque 205 or 215 is the width of the tyre. The profile is the depth of the tyre... 45 on the standard fit 205's... and recommended to be 40 on the 215's to try and keep the circumference of the tyre a close as possible to the original so it doesn't put the speedo reading out too much. That could probably be worded better! |
