| Briskodian | Where's the filter?? Maybe a daft question but where exactly is the Vrs oil filter? Is it a case of 'simply' removing the sump guard and hey presto there it is or is it a bit more complex than that? |

| Re: Where's the filter?? undo the cap and lift the old filter out before you drain the oil , that way you should get most of the old oil out of the engine

| Re: Where's the filter?? Miles above it. You should remove the filter first as it drops another 1/4 litre of old oil baxck down into the sump. If you do that after draining the oil it sits in the sump. |

| Re: Where's the filter?? Just make sure that you don't overtighten the cap when you fit the new filter. There's a torque setting that needs to be followed otherwise you end up with a broken o-ring seal and an engine bay, sump tray and chassis covered in oil (just like I did 5 days into owning my car!). |
