Delivery 15 weeks on Fabia 3 Estate

Hi,

Just had a delivery date of 10th November quoted on my Fabia 3 Estate.

Options are Heated Seats, Steering Wheel Radio Controls, Seat Boxes and Brilliant Silver Metallic.

Seems a long wait to me. Anyone else having to wait that long for delivery?

Not in a position to cancel really as its a company car so will just have to wait!

You will probably find it's because they cannot keep up with the demand for the estate, so there is a fairly long waiting list.

Re: Delivery 15 weeks on Fabia 3 Estate

That's tough! But on the plus side...when you get it, you'll love it...I promise! I have the Fabia 2 Estate and it's just 3 weeks old and my wife and I just love it to bits. It's so versatile and all our friends are just gob smacked at the space inside and how well built it is. Your new baby will be superb with all the extra's.

I think Skoda have underestimated just how successful the Estate version is going to be.

Good luck to you.

Hi,

12 weeks for an Octavia Elegance Estate, due in September. Luxury pack, front sensors and metallic paint. Apologies in advance for wrong thread.

Sparshatts in Fareham have a black Fabia 3 estate with sunset windows sat in the showroom at the moment. Be interesting to see how long it stays there.

probably just being on the safe side, as the deliveries seem to be slower than normal from skoda. plus if its a company car they wouldnt want to let them down if it got delayed.

you never know you might get it earlier instead

Just ordered a Fabia 2 Estate on Thursday 31st July. Not many extras but metallic Cappuccino Beige finish. Wife chose that but I do quite like it. I haven't received a projected delivery date as yet but the young chap in the dealer said it could be as quick as six weeks. I thought that was optimistic and he didn't need to bull because he knew I was having the car regardless.

I told him that I had seen a posting on here stating 15 weeks for a L3 metallic and he seemed to think that was quite a long time.

When he gets back to me after the weekend I'll post the delivery date he quotes.

Re: Delivery 15 weeks on Fabia 3 Estate

Just received a delivery estimate of 2nd or 3rd week in September for my estate. That makes it about 8 weeks since the day it was ordered.

That said, the car has few extras but metallic paint.

Does seem rather quick to me.

Re: Delivery 15 weeks on Fabia 3 Estate

I ordered my fabia 2 estate on the 2nd of July. I chose a few options and was told 8 - 10 weeks for delivery. Ther last contact I had was on friday and they said It's looking like arriving in Grimsby (I think that's what port he said) in the first week of september. That would have been 8/9 weeks. I don't know how long it takes to transport it up here, but even allowing a week to arrive, it will still be ready for collection within the upper boundary of the time frame.
