I think you will find that the bore and stroke are the same for both engines. If you multiply 1.9 by 3/4 you get 1.4 which isn't just a coincidence.

The bore and stroke are the same on both engines (79,5mm bore and 95,5mm stroke) The extra capacity on the 1,9 comes from the extra cylinder. They both have a cast iron block and an alloy head.
