| Briskodian | Re: fabia2 review to be honest that was a naff review. the guy saying its less angular than the old model has he looked at most of it. it was designed with a chainsaw lol. it might have a few more curves but i think they only exaggerate the straight lines whereas the mk1 fabia looks ok because the styleings the same. also the fact 10,000 is to much to ask that depends what your wanting. and prestieg of a vw... lol sorry i forgot to wear my tuxedo and top hat in the polo. my only dissapointment with thisone is that putting them side by side it looks like vw have gone to skoda and said ok for this new fabia we want to save a bit of cash on the design so weve lined up this group of 6 year olds to design it for us. its funny the reviews ive seen of this car they have all been in the two worst colours you can have orange and yellow. i think if they showed it to us in black it might look alright

| Briskodian | Re: fabia2 review His last comment annoyed me... "I don't think there is a massive amount to be gained by having a Skoda anymore" I appreciate his view and understand where he's coming from but if one thing the modern car industry has proved... it's that people want choice. Line up Ibiza, Fabia and Polo - and they each have their own attributes. Now... am I the only thinking that presenter was incredibly dull!?

| Briskodian | Re: fabia2 review dull isnt the problem allthough he was lol. it was like he had never drove the mk1 before to make the comparrison. i dont think he knows anything really about cars he just showed up got in and said yea it aint as good as a vw. missing the wholle point if it was as well made or luxurious then it would cost the same as a vw and not cheaper which is the appeal. if skoda cost the same as vw i knew which i would chose lol

| Briskodian | Re: fabia2 review do u know, i think it goes a lot deeper than pricing and quality... for me, buying a car is buying into the life. i used to be a hude mg rover fan and owner and the feeling of its... britishness was what made ownership so enjoyable. i owned a citroen c2 and admired the car, but didn't buy into the experience... for me, it's not just value for money, spec n the like - its about enjoying the car and being able to stand up for it in the pub lol give me the underdog anyday! I'd honestly rather have a nicely spec-ed skoda superb than a base-but acceptable- passat.
