| Briskodian | Front suspension cover query Only just noticed that my new Fabia is possibly missing a plastic dust cover on the top of the front nearside MacPherson suspension strut - there is a cover on the nearside one. I assume that there should be one on each side, perhaps someone can confirm please? |

| Re: Front suspension cover query There should indeed be one on each side. Mine has gone missing as well, same one. Not entirely sure why it's gone missing, but I'm not overly concerned about it at the moment ![]()

| Briskodian | Re: Front suspension cover query It may not be vital but if it is a standard fitting then it should be there, especially on a brand new vehicle. As yet no one has confirmed they have one on each side, which was my query. So far on this thread we have two cars strangely both in the same situation, ie. nearside one missing. Do you have actually have one each side irfant, or is your silicone suggestion from experience? |

| Re: Front suspension cover query I read the same problem from Fabia section many years ago. Therefore my first job was to silicone them when I got my Fabia and Roomi...

| Re: Front suspension cover query Here's the summary of my situation for you, Bassa. On my last two fabias, I had two of the plastic covers, one on each side. On my current fabia VRS, the passenger side one is missing.

| Briskodian | Re: Front suspension cover query Now the proud owner of a matching set, the car feels more balanced - only kidding. According to my dealer, apparently some cars are supplied with one side only fitted whereas others have the pair, it's all down to pot luck. Strikes me as a strange way of going on. |
