Full Brochure arrived!

Hey all , as per thread title , the new Fabia brochure popped onto my doormat this morning! Ive only had time to have a quick flick thru , but having had said quick look , I reckon I could spec up a Fabia 2 to how I want it (cant belive you have to pay for foglights on the 2 tho , very tight , Skoda!!) , shame theres no 1.2 12V option on the 3 , or I would probably go that route , if I was buying right now (which I'm not!) No mention or price for the white roof option , even though there's a car with one in the brochure!! Sprint Yellow with a White roof would do me just nice....

Me too, silly really as you can have any engine on any spec in CZ. Fitting this engine to the top spec model would make it really great value.

Re: Full Brochure arrived!

Yes well that would be too sensible wouldn't it! Ive just been doing a bit of 'dream spec-ing' on a Fabia 3 , if you bought a 3 1.9 TDI , then fitted every availible factory fit option onto it (Multi function controls for radio , Met/pearl/yellow paint , heated front seats , 3rd rear headrest , ESP and ASR , Elec sunroof with remote CL , Curve projector headlamps , Tyre pressure monitor , rear elec windows and cornering front fogs...phew!) you would pay a grand total of £14,700 for your car (before any discount!!)....any takers?...lol!

Re: Full Brochure arrived!

In your full spec list, is sat nav included automatically or is that another pay for option. Recall when I brought mine just under two years ago - sat nav was something like £1500 extra

Sat Nav isnt listed in the brochure. Whether it will arive at a later date or not I couldn't say , but I'd reckon on it being at leat as expensive as on the MK1 if it does! Also no mention (as of now) of the White/Check/whatever Roof option , or privacy (Sunset) Glass options either. I wonder what those 3 options would cost together , £2500? This 'Dream Fabia' is getting to be a dear little beast!

Are they a 'cost option' on the Octavia's aswell? Both MK1 and MK2?

Yes , they are a cost option on Fabia 2 and 3 , unavailible on the 1- £130 inc vat. Sorry I dont have an Octavia MK2 brochure , so I dont know if they are extras on that car.

Sunset is £200 on the Roomster so I guess it would be similar on the Fab. Could have sworn the black demo Fabia I saw at the dealer the other day had it though, either that or fairly heavily tinted anyway.

As for the eletric rear windows debate, my dad's Focus cost £19k and it's windows don't open at all, electronically or otherwise

Re: Full Brochure arrived!

Had a brochure arrive today - If I was to replace my Fabia like for like then it would have to be Fabia 2 with fog lamps, although I noticed only Fabia 3 had the fog lamps listed.

Not on the Ocky Elegance, they are standard.

I would have expected them, to be standard on the Fabia 3.

Me too. It is a shame that the pictures are not from UK specification cars.

Yes , the stereos on the interior shots of the Fabia 1 and 2 in the brochure are totally wrong (just as well , coz they look mingin'!) the UK spec dash is the same as the one in the Fabia 3 pic , but in RHD form.

Re: Full Brochure arrived!

Also if you look at the pic of the optional sunroof , I'm pretty sure theres some sort of monochrome sat-nav unit in that car , it certainly looks like there is a direction arrow displayed on the stereo.

There is sat nav available in Europe on the new Fab and Roomster, perhaps it will become an option here too?

Yeah , thats the unit in the pics in the Fabia brochure , no mention of it in the accessories (factory fit or otherwise) as yet , maybe waiting for the estate launch?

What? No colour? No roadmap? And I bet it costs many times more than an external unit.
