Excellerator poor

how is the accelerator?

how did you clean the injectors?

did you clean fuel filters?

hi cleaned injectors by stripping down and cleaning with soft cloth and clean oil / ensuring that the needles were free / fuel filter is two months old / when im driving / crusing i sometimes hear a tapping noise / and no response from the accelerator untill i press it further and then it kicks in and you do actually feel the power / hope this is what you need / thanks 4 the reply / ps merry christmas

Sounds like a fault with the diesel injector pump to me. I would make sure the timing belt hasn't slipped a tooth first of all! Has the car done a lot of miles?
