| I have a cube van which is a pickup with a hard top bolted on. depends which engine he's going for really. I don't know much about the petrol ones, but the 1.9D often suffers from the "hot start" problem and requires a change of temp sender switch. It's a mildly leaky engine as well so you need to keep an eye on oil level. Apart from that, the windscreen seals are prone to perishing, thus letting water into the cab, the rear shocks often go if the pick up's had a hard life and the rear suspension is totally custom for the pick up so suspension parts are often hard to get hold of.
