| Hey Guy's... First post... Basically, I have a problem with my dad's '99 Felicia... 1st, the drivers elec window stopped working, then suddenly decided to start working.... then when half way down, decided to stop altogether. I dismantled the door, and got into the winder, and there was corrosion on the terminals, I fixed this, and re-assembled, but it still wouldn't work. Dad then accuired a replacement winder from a friend who owns a scrap yard, He fitted the new winder today.... and guess what.... It won't work.... He then performed more tests, and when he bypassed the switch, he got sparks and no movement.... now.... The passenger window's decided it doesn't want to work anymore either...... Basically... Any advice on what to do.... (other than fit manual winders)? Any help/advice would be much appreciated! Breandán ![]() |

| Do you have power at the motors? If not, I'd check the fuse, and if that's ok, suspect broken wires (inside the insulation) where they cross into the doors. |

| the constant flexing of the loom between the body and the door through that little rubber tube causes the wires to break
