Felicia 1999 GLI Had a look at the front suspension today (quite bad knocking from nearside front) and it seems on inspection that the shock absorber is leaking quite badly. Only had the car 2 weeks so it looks like it's been like it for a while. Upon bouncing the car at that corner it does feel softer than the other side with quite bit of bounce afterwards. So going to replace the shock and whilst doing that I think I will replace the wishbone as well. It states on the Jorily website that the wishbone comes complete with bushes, is there anything else I will need before starting these two jobs, noteably the wishbone parts. MickA

Dont forget to check the shock absorber on the other side. I had to replace both mine after one cup was rusted to the point there was a hole in them and the other would have reached that point quite soon.

They're best replaced as pairs anyway really so they wear the same each side (Haynes says for handling but I can't see it makes any odds TBH.)

Kwik Fit said the same thing. If the cup wasnt rusted on the other side I'd have just bought the 1 tbh
