Re: my wheels dont fit the holes on the wheels are spaced out wider than the holes on the car, in effect the holes are half covered by the wheels ![]()

Re: my wheels dont fit What you need are pcd adapters, these change the pitch circle diameter and then the holes will line up....BUT, these obviously add width and this will dramatically change the offset of the wheels which can then start rubbing on wheel arches or suspension mountings. The simple and sensible answer is just flog the wheels and find some that fit. The things you need to look for are a PCD of 4 x 100, which is 4 holes with a measurement of 100mm between the centre of diagonal holes. (ford are 4x108) then to get the offset correct you should be finding ones with an ofset (often stamped ET on the wheel) of 38. 35 is a common offset and would actually make the stance of the car 3mm narrower per side than 38. there are loads of cars with the same pcd, but watch out for the offset as hondas and rovers often use an ofset of 25 which would potentially start hitting suspension etc as it would be over 10 mm further into the car, so you'd then need wheel spacers etc. this is a great site for lists of similar fitments:Alloy wheel fitments and pcd's. and further reading is available at:The Car Maintenance Bibles Last edited by mattstead; 17-06-2008 at 20:56.

Re: my wheels dont fit They wont fit, Ford wheels have a PCD of 108mm and VW have a PCD of 4x100.

Re: my wheels dont fit Its only th same advice as Matt has correctly given above me. However i wouldnt bother with PCD adapters on a Felicia, just get the right wheels. Hundereds to choose from. Anything from a MK2 Golf etc will bolt straight on, and look pretty cool. Nice set of BBS RA alloys as fitted to the GTi would be well swish.

Re: my wheels dont fit Some of those BBS wheels look good... i know because i've got them... were fitted standard to some felicias too... but would probably be able to grab some off an old Golf etc. See... they look pretty smart.. these are just 14" though... so could probably go for some 15's and they'd look a bit better! ![]()
