| Briskodian | Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs Pretty new to this so bare with me. I have a 1997 Felica LXI Plus. Looking to replace the orginal rear suspesion cos it's seen better days and i get the impression the MOT centre will laugh it out the garage next month. Orginals from Skoda are about £90 for the set (springs and dampers) but wondered if i can get lowing springs from anywhere or you guys know of alternatives that will fit i.e Volkswagon one (was thinking MKII golf but icould be way off). Anyone who is mad enough to of done it before (the response i get from most none Skoda owers) and can help, your advice would be great. |

| Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs mine is lowered. 35mm on s-max springs, but if your doing the dampers aswell would be worth getting estate dampers (more damping force to counteract the stiffer springs) or, the HP sporting set from Homepage |

| Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs jamex springs from motorsportworld in scotland. mail order, and the cheapest available. i did 4 hours straight searching one night, i KNOW they're the cheapest. dont hold your breath waiting on any lowering shocks though. id suggest going straight to GAZ. if you only want back lowering springs (-35/40) and standard shocks, i can set you up a treat with some brand new items for about £125 plus delivery. |

| Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs I have H&R springs (45/15) on felicia. Not really comfortable ones but handling is great. Not sure whether eibach still produces springs for felicia (on their .de site felicia is on the list but dealers are not so sure about it ). Eibach's should be the best option. Also, Platimex should have something. Don't have any idea about quality/durability/handling. Regarding the suspension, I have Kayaba (kyb) gas dampers. Better than original but not so great. If I remember correctly, Koni (special red) should have some dampers for felicia. Sachs also, but a bit pricey. |

| Briskodian | Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs I'm thinking of ordering some of these: SPAX / SSX Springs / Skoda Felicia LX/GLX ; 12/94- ; -35mm / Euro Performance Car Parts This could be a stupid question, but do these come as a pair? or as a set of 4? |

| Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs usually come as a set of 4, and they look like a full set. mind you. it dont say how much it lowers by????? says up to 80mm. but on a felicia, if you lowered it 80mm, it would be on the floor! (trust me i know) i'm using the HP sporting coilovers. i used lowering springs before. the lowering springs work better with estate dampers (if you have a hatch) cuz they have more damping force. |

| Re: Need Help Guys! Felica rear springs the coilovers are HPsporting and cost £350. but there designed for rally use, so the back end is on the floor, and the front is up a bit so it can get over stuff. the shocks have three set ride hight positions insted of the usual threaded set-up. i'm guna look into having some shorter spring made up for the front of mine, to get the front to sit low as!!!!!! just like the back. as for 200mm drop, the only way to get that would be on an air-ride set-up. |
