Default Prising brake fluid reservoir from master cylinder, any tips?

Well I've managed what I believe to be the most difficult bits, got the servo and mc out. I have tried for ages to remove the reservoir from the mc but it won't budge. I have tried wedging a screwdriver between them but I fear if I put further pressure on I will damage the reservoir, so was wondering if anyone had any tips.

I tried to buy a new reservoir but Skoda dealer says they no longer sell them.

Oh and I guess the obvious thing to come after that is to how to push it in. Hopefully that will be easier and I assume a little brake fluid on the seals will help it slide in.

Thanks in advance.

There's just 2 rubber seals holding it in place. Can't see any other assemblies like a pin.

Would some hot water on the old master cylinder help? Theory, that it might expand it slightly, not on the reservoir as it might soften it up.

My mechanic used brute force and a big screwdriver to proze the reservoir off the old one and it just slot onto the new master master cyl.

I cant see any clips you have to hold either. Cant remember what mine was like

but the seal has to be pretty tight otherwise you'd be losing fluid and letting air into the system. So may just need a good tug.
