| My R reg 1.3MPi Felicia has started to become very noisy, especially when cornering. It sounds like someone is jumping around on the rear seats, making the springs creak. It sounds silly but the last time I had a car make this kind of noise (an old V reg Triumph Dolomite) it was actually the sound of the radius arms parting company with the chassis and the rear axle eventually moved sideways - oops! If I bounce the car, like I was checking the shocks, there is no unusual noise; just when I'm cornering or if I hit an "unseen" speed bump. It seems to be independent of speed. Any suggestions welcome - I'll probably finish up taking it to my local garage for him to check it on the ramps but I'm just curious to know if this model, or older Skodas in general, tend to creak and groan - like some owners .Thanks in anticipation of the usual friendly, helpful response Catman |

| Very impressed with the response speed - thanks. Recently passed MOT but that doesn't prove anything - will check ASAP though that probably means next weekend. Will keep you posted |

| It's not unheard of for either the rear spring to break, or the lower shock absorber bolt to break (this one you would know instantly)
