| hi all......i have just put a cd player in my felly 1.3 mpi and the other day i got out my car and forgot to switch the stereo off and my batt was almiost flat.......is it possible to wire this up so that it goes off when the ignition key is pulled out.....many thanks

| Yes it is possible but there's so many colours I forget which wires. There's a wire from the ignition switch that is live on ignition that goes to the fusebox. You can use a scotchlok on a bit of wire onto this and on most stereos there is a way of swapping two wires over, one of these is ignition live and the other constant live (in some cars they reverse the wires, but in the felicie both are constantly on.) If this is done using bullet connectors, you can crimp a bullet connector to the end of your ignition switched live and connect this to the appropriate bullet connector. The haynes manual for the felicia wiring diagrams will identify which wire in the fusebox is live switched. |
