Default wheel bearing/hot tyre

hi everyone, first post here. hope you can help, '98 1.9 diesel felicia. front off/side tyre wearing very fast on the inside and hot to the touch, the wheel is also hot. renewed both front wheel bearings, new off/s front tyre and the tracking checked. tracking out but has been adjusted. now the tyre is still hot on the top off the inside wall but the wheel/hub seems normal. why is the tyre still hot? any ideas thanks

I'd consider swapping the wheels over and see if the problem follows the wheel/tyre.

theres a 2" gap between the cup and tyre and it was renewed about 6 months ago. not sure about the bushes though, anyway of checking them. Off to RAF Waddington air show now so I won't be able to check any replies, thanks

My front left was wearing on the outer edge. Cant see it happening on the tyre thats currently on it, but the fronts need replacing now so will see if that problem was cured when the tracking and front shocks were changed.

Could be the lower wishbone mounts. Not familiar with the Felicia but I had this problem with a Pug 306. The tracking was spot on but the tyre kept wearing badly on one edge. Turned out to be the wishbone pivot bushes that were shot but they only allowed play when the vehicle was moving forward. The play allowed the wishbone to splay outwards slightly when driving the car forwards but when the car was stationary the wishbones returned to their correct poisition and the tracking was back in line when ever it was checked.

That or the lower ball joint. I've seen that happen, and the (lady) driver only picked up that there even was a problem when the tyre was down to the re-enforcing belts.
