| Just an update for you all, insurance company is aload of crap! had to explina to some indian women what a turbo is, what an intercooler is and what it does and why i want to upgrade it. underwriters say the standard is perfectly fine but i came out with some great bull about car over-heating in rush-hour lol I made it VERY clear it has NO performance bonus which she seem'ed very keen on the idea of I am right arnt i? i wont improve BHP? so yeah, they calling back tonigh with answer hopefully. 1. | Mine seemed ok when I called them about 312" brakes and vRS springs/dampers so i'm just hoping they are going to be ok about the FMIC and Exhaust system i'm also planning. It has a small cost attached to it but i'm not to bothered if all my mods put my premium up by 100 quid or so. I'll just make sure I have a damn good look for other quotes when renewal comes up. 1. | Ok, [Advertise]signature[/Advertise] now sorted. Hows about the added incentive mr/ms forge if you send up some BFO stickers i would be happy to plaster them on the fabia for the starperformance trackday,i cant speak for black magic but im sure he wouldnt be adverse to the idea, lots of pics floating around from the last meet and after the performance of the fabias the last time they were certainly talked about, 'would' be even better with a FMIC. | Just to Whet some appetites... heres a random pic... ![]() the fmic has been on for over 10k miles now and it gets a 6 outta 5 rating for me.. (the top pipe is new, hence its clean LOL) also, the welds will be neater on the production version, this is one of the modifications that were made to improve the clearance, theres a aircon bleed point just behind there.. the pipework doesnt touch it Last edited by Neo_VR; 09-09-2005 at 08:04. |
