Re: Powerflex bushes (its a deal)

Does the rear kit for an Octavia consist of 2 bushes or 4?
And are they a diy fit or a garage job?

Thanks, Simon

It consists of 2 bushes fro the rear beam only fitment is not that straight forward it all depends on how easy it is to remove the old ones the new ones should fit without a press.

Re: Powerflex bushes (its a deal)

nice one! Heard some really good things about these bushes.

When time permits, can you do a listing of exactly what bushes the individual kits contain, or supply a link?

Thanks
Bas

Re: Powerflex bushes (its a deal)

Thanks - I'll deffo look at this as an upgrade later on in the year. Once you persuade the old bushings out, fitting the new ones is apparently really easy (they just slide in, in 2 separate pieces).

oops; Is item 2 for the Fabia (front wishbone rear bush) the same as the Cupra bush part no. 6LL 407 183? That is a PITA to fit and if so I'll cancel my order from the local SEAT dealer, and get these.

Cheers
Bas

Darn! just picked up the Cupra ones yesterday, and have had to rebook leaving UK to the 24th. Will have to see about these at some point in time...
If I get stuck fitting the cupra ones, may have to rush order the powerflex ones. Removal of the old bushes seems quite easy. Fitting the new cupra ones needs some effort. The powerflex ones apparently just slide in easily - in two pieces from either side....

Oh well....

Thanks

Bas
