| I'm guessing the second turbo is a bit overkill if you don't have uprated injectors? Just out of interest, what sort of package (£) could you do for turbo, fitted + mapping?

| One other Q? If I go in on the group buy, I wont be having the turbo fitted until after xmas, Probably in Feb or March with my next service. Considering this, would the start date for the warrenty be from purchase or fitting?

The warrenty will start when you puchase the turbo not when its fitted! These turbo's however are fairly bulletproof if looked after properly. Its essential however that you allow the turbo to just tickover for 10mins or more before driving it when first fitted, if you then give the turbo an easy time for the first 100 or so miles (not essential but its what i do) then it will be fine im sure, also allow the turbo to spool down for a few minutes after a spirited drive etc. Im dont think the turbo's come with new oil lines, so if fitting it yourself make sure that these are in good condition..... Thanks

They're fine to reach the quoted 240bhp, with other mods - you only need the injectors sorting out if you're going for the high 200s.

| Whoops, hit thanks first before quote. ![]() I imagine the TD2 will go close to 300, but it will need modded injectors and a few other mods to get there I believe. Injectors are the key weak link as they flow 550ccm as stock, and you need around 700 to get past 300bhp (apparently, so I was told)

| The injectors work like 4 individual fuel pumps. They will need uprating to get up past where I am now. ![]()

| Possibly. But I would do more. Full decatted exhaust system and FMIC would be fairly essential as well. This thing goes on and on mate ![]()

| I never mentioned the "A" word once, but I agree this thread needs cleaning up. I imagine F1 would be able to sort Gary out with all the tuning bits I mentioned anyway. They seem pretty clued up on VAG diesels from what I've seen. ![]()

| Good prices. I have the stage 2 hybrid MD376. The thing seems to work effortlessly compared to the OEM one - able to run 2 BAR all day long if desired... Chose it as I wanted minimal turbo lag and max torque throughout the rev range. The combo of OEM size impeller and uprated compressor just made perfect sense to me... Direct bolt-on, no messing about with a bespoke exhaust manifold nor chance of potentially more turbo lag with the VNT20 series....
