Making Images Appear on the Forum

I've written this guide, as I've heard a lot of people on many forums that can get quite confused when it comes to this sort of thing.

To make images appear on this forum, follow these steps.

1. Go to Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket and make an account. (This takes little time and is helpful on most forums)
2. Once you've made your account, log in
3. Once you have done this, go to your album
4. Click on the image you want to display on the forum
5. Copy the [IMG] Code (Not the HTML, or Javascript Code) and paste this straight into your forum post. Do not use the "Insert Image" function on the tool bar on this forum as the IMG code works in the same way.
6. Paste this into your thread. When pasting multiple images, Always put a double line space (Press the return key twice) so there is not a line of images that go across instead of downwards

Hints & Tips

Images uploaded to photobucket are limited to the resolution

When the images are inserted into a thread, they will appear how they were uploaded

IF you delete them from your album on photobucket, they wont be displayed in any old threads that they were used in.



This image shows the code that you need to copy and paste into threads.

I've done this on a few forums...

It helps people with less computer knowledge than myself...

That was a basic one, I just didn't have time to mess about doing printscreens of the whole job.

thats a good idea for people to host images, snookered me when I first tried to upload a piccie on here.
