OEM Dog Bone Mount

I have a powerflex dog bone mount and I'm still getting nagged by SWMBO for the noise it creates. Can the Powerflex mount be put in the boot so I can sell it on.

OMG I'll emigrate to the UK ASAP...

A month ago we heard the tell-tale sound of outworn brake pads on SWMBOs Octy, almost due for the 100K service as well.

Since we had a 20 % discount offer from the nearest VAG garage and they could take it on the next day we took it there...

100 K service plus standard pads&discs (front) was £500 (incl. VAT and discount deducted)...

I usually go to an independent mechanic nearby and he would have done it cheaper (although not the next day) but £170, no way...

Hello
We have had people over from Norway for a service , exhaust and a few bits on his MK4 Golf
He had a holiday in England and had some bits done while he was here , as it was so much cheaper
He then went on around the country and bought some other bits , then went home
He wanted to take some pics while his car was in the workshop , as it was holiday pics
Strange , but true (well to us)
So pop over and see us sometime

I just saw an advert for a dog bone mount at £125 and thought, oh my word, I hope the OEM ones aren't that expensive

you should get the superpro one matt, they do one specifically for the tdi with no increased vibrations i have one on mine its great

Sarah,

The service was done in very little time and I was kept upto date with the Air-Con check, it was just a shame the rear disc's/pads and OEM Dog Bone mount hadn't been ordered, I was quite relieved in a way though as I was told their not great but the pads have about 30% life left in them. I'm sure this is just a ploy to get customers back to make them spend more money, I really like the 18" RS4 wheels that are 2tone at the back of the shop

My biggest critisism/complaint of all is I was promised a nice home brew by a certain lady who then decided to take some holiday and wasn't around

Will you be around for the Briskoda RR Day??

I can't remember the lads name but he mentioned that the supplier used may not be able to deliver the parts on the same day of the order so I decided to leave them knowing that I would be coming back at some stage.
