Default Changing Fabia injectors & turbo

Hi Sarah,

I'm trying to work out how much it would cost me to upgrade my turbo and injectors to PD130 turbo and injectors. Can you give me a rough idea how much the labour would be to fit the injectors and turbo please.

The cheaper the better

Cheers,

Rob

The turbo is fairly easy, but the injectors take some work, and they have to be set up properly. I'm sure Awesome are capable of doing this, but I would personally let Allard do this kind of work.

Hi Rob
Blimey you are planning some work for your motor
The labour for fitting these you would be looking approx £450.00 + VAT
You will need a custom remap after that too
Hope that helps you

Thanks Sarah.

It's all Jasons fault - he has put ideas in my head!
Do you do custom remaps??

Rob

Don't bring me into this!

It's been done before anyway - John Yardley ran a pd100 with these two bits in and it was damn fast! You could do other bits like have a performance exhaust, FMIC, pd160 intake and you could push for 190bhp possibly - almost 100% stock engine power.

Yeah I remember talking to John about his when he was selling it, I think it was sold again recently, bit of a bargain if I remember correctly.

I didn't think about an FMIC, hmm this could turn into an expensive upgrade...

John ran the Allard FMIC - and possibly the vRS one that Forge designed might fit yours as well. This slope is very slippery, mate. You'd think I'd be happy with my power, but nooooo, spending a damn load more hunting out more horsies.

Another option is to use the PD130/150 intake manifold. Believe it flows better but at the end of the day I dont know how much more power you'd get.

I'd get a PD150 turbo, injectors and a custom remap and leave it as that. Irf got quoted around £550 for a new one pd150 turbo from camco in warrington.

Might be, but you're only looking at perhaps under a grand all in.
£100 my injectors
£250 turbo (subject to haggling)
£450 fitting (Might be less)
Custom remap then (or tweak current map if you have one)

Having fitted my own turbo aboout a week ago, and going to fit the injectors as well - all I can say is that is a great deal from Awesome - it is bl**dy hard work and very fiddly as well....

Good luck
Bas

Does the pd150 turbo go straight on to the PD fabias? I thought there was somthing at a different angel somewhere?

My turbo is on the way out i think, lots of whistle. Was going to look at a used PD 150 turbo as an interim measure on the current map, as i can't afford the VT2 and remap at the moment.

The PD150 turbo is clocked at a different angle, we never re-fit any KKK turbos back onto fabia's
