| Hi, I'm after a bit of guidance. My car is going into Skoda to have the gearbox rebuilt (for free, hopefully) and I'm considering the possibility of replacing the clutch if I can get them to do it at the same time. What is the set up everyone says you do, with the better clutch and G60 SMF? I could only see one listed on your website and wasn't sure if that was it? It's a MK1 Octavia vRS, standard at the moment but I may remap etc. eventually, but it'll never have masses more power than standard. What would you reccomend and what's the price!!?? Ta.

| Thanks. So are they both new clutch and flywheel kits? What are the main differences between the two? Sorry for all the questions! I'm going to get onto Skoda shortly and see what they say about fitting aftermarket parts for me.

| Hi They both have SMF , clutch plate , pressure plate and release bearings I would say the G60 set up comes with every bolt that it required too and includes a little plate that is required too Swings and roundabouts really I dont think that one is "better" than the other Sorry , personal choice there ![]() Sarah |

| I've just had a call from Skoda and they've fixed my car, it was something to do with the clutch but they've covered it under warranty. They went ahead and did all under warranty without me knowing, so I think I'll just leave the standard clutch alone for now. This is something I'll bear in mind for future though, thanks for all your help!
