| Hi Sarah, I have been reading a number of posts on the benefits of Koni FSD's on the Octavia II and have noticed that these are not currently available for the VRS estate. Are you aware of any plans from Koni to introduce these at any time ? What other options are available to smooth out the jittery ride in my estate ? (and eliminate the creaking front suspension over speed bumps )Would appreciate any thoughts you might have along with prices for Awesome to supply and fit. Many thanks, Russell

| Hi Fitting on any springs and shockers is £167.50 + VAT and that includes the geo set up and adjust Coilovers is £202.50 + VAT , this is a tad dearer because of the setting up of the coilovers I think I have had a word with Koni before on these , and at the moment there are no plans to release them I think that one good option would be possibly down the route of H&R cup kit These are £475 + VAT They include the springs and shockers and I have checked with H&R and they do fit your car The lowering on these would be 55mm front and 40mm rear The other option we have at the moment is Eibach These are usually so smooth and do fantastic lowering at approx 30mm front and rear The springs are £121.86 + VAT and the shockers are £306.35 + VAT I am on the case and I am looking in to what else we can do Hope that helps for now Sarah |

| Thanks for the info Sarah. BTW, I am not sure I really need anything that stiffens up the ride - it's an age thing you know ![]() Keep up the good work Russell

| You've probably investigated this, but is'nt the suspension the same as the Hatch vRS? As for the MkV Golf Estate, its funny you should mention it as I saw one today on the road, I wondered what the heck it was at first! ![]()

My own personal preference to smooth the ride out would be just the FSD's and not the springs.

| Almost certainly 55mm but can easily be checked with the VIN number off the car on ETKA

| Looks like 55mm it is then. So to re-cap on prices ; FSD's = £283.61 +VAT fitting = £167.50 + VAT --------------------------- TOTAL = £530.05 fully inc. Which is fully fitted (set of 4) for front and rear - is that right Sarah ? PS What is EKTA ? Does Joe public have access to this ?

| Hi Sarah, Sorry to highjack this thread but does that mean if I were to let you know the VIN number of my Octy VRS estate, you could match up the correct FSD’s for it? Regards. Ken.
