| Hello all, I purchased the Milltek downpipe and sport cat (around Feb this year from Awesome) to add to the non resonated cat back Oval tail pipe also of the same make that i have on my mk1 vRS (Also bought from Awesome last year) Once fitted it was great and sounded awesome. After a couple of weeks it seemed to slacken off and was blowing so i took it back to who fitted it for me and they tightened it all up and everything was fine Unfortunately it keeps on doing this now every few weeks. I have tried a number of different exhaust fitters in my area e.g Kwik fit, HI-Q etc even Skoda fixed it when i had it in for a service but still the blowing comes back. I'm just wondering if you guys have ever heard of any problems with the fit of Milltek or if maybe there is something wrong with my car If you haven't heard anything then i'll stick a thread in the Ask a Tech section. Thank you in advance Ross WRC_068

| Where is it blowing from do you know? It might just need some new hangers as my Milltek has been fine |

| I must admit , a few people have done the dog mount bush with the turbo back exhaust This is due to the amount of extra movement in the engine This will cause like a rocking movment on the engine So may be worth getting one of those while tightening the exhaust See if that stops it Sarah |

| Ah right, funnily enough i had thought about that! it blows from the join just after the cat part joins to the back part at the centre of the car and when cold i do get what sounds like the exhaust vibrating off the underside of the car but after a couple of minutes that goes. Right i will try the dogbone mount and get it re-tightened and see how it goes. Can you get stiffer exhaust rubber mounts to help stop movement? Ross

| No Powerflex dont do them May be worth trying new ones of those But dof mount bush could be good May be a bit of vibrations until you get used to it , but that will stop the engine from moving about a bit Bedding in takes a couple of months ish Sarah |
