Question Mk1 Octy vRS Diverter Valve

Hi guys/gals!!

I'm looking to replace the standard diverter valve on my Octy vRS estate but i'm a little confused as to the merits of the 3 units you have advertised on your website, what are the differences??

Also i've pretty much decided to purchase a Carbonio induction kit, do you keep these and the diverter valves in stock or would you have to order one in for me??

I am hoping to pop down this weekend when exactly are you open on Sat/Sun??

Sorry to ask so many questions!!!!

Cheers,

Martin

Hey Sarah!!

Don't apologise for being off on Friday, I'm sure you deserved it!?!

I did beat you too it though, I popped over on Sat and picked myself up a Carbonio induction kit!!!!!!

I think it was Mark(?) that dealt with me and my screaming 2 year old son, do apologise for me!! I must thank Mark for his help and advise, even when Oliver was trying to play with his chair and dismantle the alloy wheel displays.

The Carbonio is on and working superbly, i'm addicted to the turbo 'whoosh' already!!

I am now thinking along the lines of you APR re-map, what is the procedure for trying the demo version??

Cheers,

Martin

P.S. Many thanks for your help and customer service so far!!

Cheers for the reply Sarah!!

I've read a lot posts recommending upgrading to at least a cat back exhaust before getting a re-map, is this true?!?

If this is the best route to follow I may be interested in a Miltek exhaust. I notice you do a resonated and non-resonated system. I would like to increase the noise slightly but I don't want to end up looking like a Burberry cap wearing Saxo driver!! Does the resonated system sound louder than the standard exhaust.

Sorry to ask so many questions!!!!!!

Cheers,

Martin

Hi Martin
Fot the stage 1 remaps it is usually for even standard cars and the exhaust can be done afterwards
With APR that we do , just go for the stage 1 , have the fun and gradually work up for the stage 2
The stage 2 would need the full turbo back exhaust though
The resonated and non resonated are not that burberrry hatty wise
You will be bale to hear the exhaust note from the inside if you go for the non resonated and the resonated will give you the burble outside
Nothing THAT loud that you would have to stick at 70 on the motorway as it is too noisy
I hope that helpsed a tad?
Sarah
