I'm still contributing, but not with the same fervour I was once. I usually turn PC's off over night, and when I first started I'd leave them on. Now I just carry on as I used to. Sometimes stop the process if I'm burning CD's etc, as I've found it can affect the process. But its usually there ticking away slowly. Like my current position though... 69 DUDE!!!

Aye, I have had a couple of issues where my FAH could not communicate with FAH servers.... Going OK at the moment though.

I found using the dos version of the client is a lot more efficient.

My rig will run the folding and let me watch divx/use photoshop/surf no problem. My laptop is a it slower but copes fine.

I see Caz (Pusscat) is catching me having made rapid progress up the 'leaderboard' - I have had stuff off for two weeks mind, when on holiday - will have to get a wriggle on, see if I can get folding running anywhere else

Comin' to get ya, Steve

Oh - just done some quick sums, and so you know what you're up against... I should get another 153 points tomorrow, 600 on Tuesday... and another 600 on Thursday

Still a long way to go before I catch you tho....

Caz will be up my way before long. And I'm really struggling to think of anywhere else I can start the folding....

looking like it'll be 7 weeks or so before I catch u up tho Jase... and you'll have overtaken ColinD by then so you won't be losing a place to me really - well, not unless someone else has overtaken you by then as well

Great i have a load of work units all queued up that won't send.

Well i think i might actually give up in the not too distant unless the client improves.
I seem to process a couple then it just gives up

Strange, I am not having any issues. I am using version 502 of the console client on 14 pc's.

Finally got the buggers to send.

Did a bit of analysis of the clients as I have 5 spare minutes and it appears they were loosing the proxy setting I had set in them.

Client is 5.02 linux, but I'll keep an eye on them. Finally got 6 w/units sent off, just frustrating as that was two weeks lost where i was away.

I've had a PC down for a few days.... but all 3 are folding away again now nicely - and all working on 600 pointers
Only thing is, the PC that's been sick is now working very slow..... think maybe the HDD is on the way out! Time to invest in a new one methinks

Mine are all still plodding along, cant find anywhere to install a new client though. The team really needs new members now as in a couple of weeks we are going to get stuck, with it taking several months to pass the next place.
