The joy of two new servers to stress, hopefully I should be back at a decent rate again soon.

I seem to have put on a few points these last few days, not sure how as the number of processors is still the same.

I have noticed that even chucking another 4 cores at it my daily average isn't great.

I might see if i can chuck another 4 at it too for a couple of days just to see if things improve, or if it is just huge or low value work units.

it takes a few days for the daily average to rise. Dont forget a WU can take 1 - 3 days on a decent machine, so adding it for 4 days may not be worth it.

I've still got a couple of boxes going, although my cluster has had to go for something else, and another Dell box is currently running SUSE 10. I could always stick the Linux client on it, I suppose.........

Due to a recent redesign of my home network (now have GbE everywhere ), I've only got round to reinstalling all the services

So my trusty old Athlon XP 1700+ is churning away at 2 gig 24/7 and my X2 desktop machine is now folding again, but I'll probably only have that running when my desktop is on: my leccy bill went through the roof, no need for a latest nvidia card

Yes I overtook you recently . Although I have a few running, the majority of them are running at lower percentages, so only about three machines are running at 90% usage.

I don't anticipate getting any further than 10th, to be honest, as I don't really have any other machines available to me to increase the capacity (rubs chin thoughtfully).

I'd also be happy with 10th but it's gonna take me a fair while to get anywhere close and I can't really see me ever getting any higher than about 12th lol..... espec as I'm still down in 16th at the mo!
Should just teeter over the 100k points mark tomorrow tho..... wondering if I'll manage to overtake Mr Utopia at the same time
Then, of course, I've got Mr Monkhai who'll be breathing down my neck before too long....
