Points not added

One of my machines finished and returned a work unit last night, but 24 hours later it still hasn't been added to my tally. Since then, another machine has also finished a unit and that has been added

has happened to me before too... and then magically a couple of days later it picked it up! So you never know, yours may do the same....

Hmmm, the same machine completed another unit at 4am today and that hasn't been credited either, but units from my other machines are being added ok.

They were both 1814/1815 units so low points, but I'm having a bit of a mid-table ding-dong with Shifty at the moment so could do with all the points I can get

Maybe you're right and they'll turn up eventually!

if it's the same machine, and it carries on doing the same thing, might be worth checking to make sure it's properly configured, to send to 'your' account?

Yeah it's all configured properly. It's a Linux box that's been doing FAH without fuss for months. I did restart it between the missing two units, but that made no difference.

It has now finished another unit, and that has been credited, so who knows where the other two went

They will get added, sometimes they go astray. Has happened to me before, then one day they all got added at once giving me a lot of points.

The point system is always a pain with FAH - generally these things do get sorted over time as already said, sometimes it can take a while.

It is due to several reasons, but one of the most common ones are that the systems are so busy accepting data (completed WUs) that they dont do the points updates for a bit. Once they recover, the points go back into the stats system and it stabilises.

The guys monitor the systems every once in a while by hand to check this is the case.
