Car: #000000 Octavia (150BHP / ###lbs/ft) | PS3 for folding... Hey everyone,
been sometime since i posted on here in general and a very long time since in the folding team section....
anyway my lasd got a ps3 so how do i go about setting it up so the folding contributes to my score total aswell as the teams???
Ive heard good things about the ps3 and its folding rate... jsut out of interest being that sony are obviously plugging for their ps3 purchasers to contribute, will this not possibly speed up a possible breakdown of certain components within the ps3
cheers
lee

Car: MX-5 2.0Sport (160 / 138) | Re: PS3 for folding... I used to use the PS3 for folding at night when it wasn't in use.
It does make tremendous progress with the folding scores, but it will only fold a certain type of WU. I stopped eventually as I try to cut down on power use due to the increase in power costs.

I can't remember the exact method of joining an existing group, but it is possible as I was folding for Brisky ont PS3.

Car: MX-5 2.0Sport (160 / 138) | Re: PS3 for folding... Yep it's really consistent with the folding time as well. Like I say, It'll only do a certain type of WU that doesn't necesarily score as highly as a similar sized WU on a PC, but the turnaround is really quick.

Will buy one myself when they get a bit cheaper and GranTurismo is (finally) released.

Car: Yellow Octavia (180BHP / ###lbs/ft) | Re: PS3 for folding... Been folding with my PS3 for a week now, it takes 6-7 hours per WU and you get around 211-250 points for each. So possibly up to 1000 points per day
