Hi All, SOLD It is with some regret that we are putting our 2005 '55' reg Skoda Fabia vRS up for sale. It has covered 14,800 miles (will creep up a little as still in use) and has full main dealer service history, as well as being under Skoda warranty until 29/10/2008. ![]() I have cherished this car and loved owning it, but it is time for a change. Thanks, Stu Last edited by StuM; 26-03-2008 at 17:01. Reason: Added a pic

That always seems to be the way. Recently bought a second car for my wife and had a strict budget - everything that looked right was too far away, and everything local failed to meet our requirements in some way! ![]()

Just to answer a couple of questions... I have priced the car at what I think it is worth, so that is the price I want to get - I think it is pretty fair and was set using Parkers & seeing what similar cars are up for on Autotrader etc. I am selling because I'm hoping to buy a 2 seater sports car, no other reason. Thanks, Stu

No contact number to post here, but if you are interested please PM / email me and I'll let you know it. Price of £9100 is not really negotiable - unless you want to negotiate up ![]() Mileage, as of the end of this weekend is 14999! Cheers, Stu

If anyone is interested in viewing etc, I might be able to arrange to be at home during the week (ie. so you can see it in daylight). Forgot to mention, the car has an air conditioned glove box.. Cheers, Stu

Hi All, Can I ask for your views on the price I have here. Parkers reckons, for this year, non-metallic and average miles (22500) that the price should be £9180... so £9100 for pearlescent paint and 15k miles seems fair to me. I have had the car on Autotrader and Ebay, as well as here - nothing from the 'Trader and one e-mail through Ebay asking if price is flexible. I really felt that, to use a cliche, first to see would buy... but no one wants to see it! The trouble is, I have my own plans and sacrificing the price of my pride and joy here would limit my options going forward, meaning I'd keep the Fabia anyway! Any advice welcome. Thanks Stu

i think its bang on price wise, just that the motor trade is probably a bit slow in the first couple of months of a year.

Thanks Gary, that's reassuring to know. Not in a huge hurry to sell, so probably worth hanging in there then. Cheers, Stu

| Looks a very nice example and agree as well that it's right on the money. If you can, wait until spring when sales traditionally begin to pick up again. Conversely, this is unfortunately when prices and demand for sports cars tends to increase too ![]() Ideal situation - buying your sporty number in the bleak cold present time and hang onto the Fab for a month ![]() Steve

I have now got a telephone number assigned for anyone that wants to make any serious enquiries about the car. First part is 07013 second part is 160661. To reiterate, there is a tiny amount of flexibility in the price, but it is priced fairly. In reply to Wardy above - I might ask the folks nicely for a loan that'll allow me to buy the sports car now and wait until spring to sell the Fabia. I'm not in any huge hurry... and of course, having to drive the vRS is no hardship! Nice sunny weekend coming up, perfect for looking at cars eh....? Cheers, Stu
