Default 337 bhp M3 (b)eater...

My car really needs to go. I have now started a new local job which means that it just sits at home collecting dust, and I can't afford to keep it... so I am looking for a quick sale, with a price that reflects it.

£6500

Back to the car. For sale is my 337 bhp / 315 lbft silver Skoda Octavia vRS. The car was first registered in September 2002, has a 52 plate, and I'm the 2nd owner. It has done just over 81,000 miles and has just been serviced. It's taxed and MOT'd until the end of February 2008.

See the following links for the low boost dyno and high boost dyno

As you can imagine, the list of modifications is extensive, but all were done with an upgrade path in mind, so if you feel adventurous you can take this beauty even further:

* Jabbasport IHI VF34 turbo conversion
* Jabbasport CAI
* Jabbasport FMIC
* Jabbasport exhaust manifold
* Jabbasport boost controller to vary the performance from 277 bhp (0.7 bar) to 337 bhp (1.2 bar)
* 3" Blueflame down pipe and 100cel sports cat
* Jetex cat back exhaust
* Audi S3 MAF
* Audi S3 ASR
* Bailey DV30 diverter valve
* KW v3 suspension
* Mintex brake discs
* Ferodo DS2500 brake pads
* Matt black OEM alloys
* Neuspeed rear anti-roll bar
* Audi S3 upper strut brace
* Audi S3 lower strut brace
* Prospeed Motorsport WRC spoiler
* Sachs clutch
* Cruise control
* VW MFD G satellite navigation + AV AUX input
* Parrot CK3000 Evolution bluetooth handsfree kit
* Some cosmetic mods (grills, bonnet lifters, splitters)

There are loads more pictures available on my website, but feel free to PM me for any specifics. Any inspection welcome.

I have a new job on the horizon, and when I get it (probably going to be june-ish though) I will be looking for a mark 1 octy vRS... (swmbo will be having the GP) , preferably already modded... I will probably have a limit of £5k, but after doing some research on available cars (autotrader ect)

THIS CAR IS A BARGIN!

shame I'm not changing jobs now, or I'd find the extra cash, and bite your hand off......

Nice car.

Great Bargin Quinten.

That spoiler would look great on my silver VRS. Shame I would have to buy the car with it.

Q (and anyone else with relevant info) - who do you insure with on this? Sorry to ask but I would consider this to replace the wife's Beezer so we had 2 Octy RS's (one standard and one slightly modded ) but only if it is reasonably ok re: insurance.
Cheers
Stu

I'm insured with Chris Knott (underwritten by Highway Insurance) and pay £640/year fully comp. That's for 9 years protected NCB, 25,000 miles/year, 37 year old man (for those who wondered ) and a HP19 postcode (which is stupidly expensive for some reason). I've got some other insurers who quoted me last year, but Chris Knot consistently undercut their quotes. There should be a thread about my insurance quotes somewhere... I'll see if I can dig it up.

The above is with all mods declared btw.

Bargain insurance! My old standard octy had just gone up to about £630.Same sort of insurance details as you too.

Cracking car.Still reckon the photos with the original wheels on would sell it in no time(which I understand you have)

Buy it Stu
