Free Bump

Do you mind if I ask how the WRC spoiler fits. Does it use the standard fixings or do you have to drill the boot??

Cheers

Uses standard fixings, but as it is also covering the whole boot lid, it is glued on.

If the car becomes mine, I will be looking to swap the whole bootlid with a standard Octy vRS one (in silver, obviously).

And as nice as I'm sure the Espace is, I think I'd rather keep the Passat.

Chris Knott have quoted me £1339.99, which despite being pleasantly suprising, is a tad on the heavy side... They have promised to beat any other quote by 10% though, so I'll ringing round a little bit more first.

Its looking promising Q!!

Feel free to have a thread tidy up Q!

Fingers crossed indeed. They only need to match the price so CK will give me an extra 10%, then its just a case of finding a small amount of cash

I can't tidy up... I'm not a mod anymore!

Maybe it's best to take it to PM, and then I'll update the thread with the news... good or bad

, didn't realise so many people were interested in the running commentary!

Still waiting for the Policy Shop to call me back. If anyone else knows of insurers for heavily modified cars then do let me know!

eCar Insurance - Get a low cost car insurance quote from eCar Insurance

My bike insurance is with ebike, they are part of the same company, I have no idea if they are competitive on cars but last year I had 3 bikes, all modified, with mods declared for £250 fully comp on 1 policy.

I was going to give them a whirl when my renewal is up.
