Right, to put people's (not all eh? Mr Zoidberg ) minds to rest, Tom and I may be coming to an arrangement . Until such time I will have to hold off interest from any other parties. The deal is by no means final, so if you are interested, just keep on saving and keep an eye on this thread.

Greenlight wont touch Octavias and Fabias

Chris knott are the best so far, Adrian Flux couldnt compete.

Ho hum, back from looking at the car... Q seems quite fond of the Passat, and I'm completely in love with the Octavia...

Pending both our cars being MOT'd and me fixing the squealing aux belt, I think we have a deal.

If someone makes Quentin the right offer in the mean time, I've told him to take it, but fingers crossed I can just find the few extra pennies needed

So to anyone who's interested... be quick or Tom is going to snap it away. Until he does, it's available to anyone.

Sorry for looking a bit bemused/bewildered at the door . I knew you were coming, yet I didn't expect you at all...

Good to meet you too, but my son was disappointed to see the PS3 leave the house in your hands... you broke his heart

Fingers crossed for you Q. And Tom, if you want a complete bootlid in silver with a normal spoiler (assuming you & Q reach a successful outcome), you should tap up Stevie Wonder on this site. I'm sure he was on the look out for something a few months ago.

Cheers everyone!!

As I've said to Q, I am more than happy for him to do a deal with anyone before I have the chance to buy it. Both of us still have to MOT our cars, and the Passat needs a bit of work I'm going to try and get sorted on a day off next week (fanbelt type squeel, probably alternator pulley, and a problem with the brakes rumbling (not warped ).
