Bah

Lucky I didn't put my money on Tom winning then......

This has to be the longest for sale thread going Q - Wonder if it might be worth opening another or having a tidy up here.

Longest time for me to wait in suspense too Stu Don't bother cleaning up the thread though, once the car has been MOTd, I'll start a new one with all details nicely put in the first post.

Dont fancy a nice black vRS as a trade in then ?

Fingers crossed everything goes well for you Q.
I know how much of a drag it can be selling a car.

Gutted.

Fell in love with the car, but due to a bit of an over-estimate on the value of mine, a necessary £400 insurance deposit, a £600 bill for repairs on the Passat, £50 for an MOT, £120 for tax and a little bit more to change than I'd like has pushed it from "just about affordable" to "it'll skint me".

If its still available in a couple of months it might be a bit different, but theres no way I'm borrowing money to fund a change...

Good luck with the sale Q, it really is worth every penny!

I never thought I'd hear myself say this, Tom, but if you take the spoiler off, you will ruin the looks of the car.

Great news Q.

In a moment of folly, I was about to get a quote because as much as I love my Fabia, I thought of going a bit mad and buying it
