Default Fabia VRS Turbo replacement

We offer a direct replacement brand new Garrett turbo that replaces the weaker KKK KP39 unit that is found on the Fabia VRS's.

We have seen a small increase in power with this unit fitted over the KP39, around 15 bhp.

The turbo retails at £635 plus VAT for a brand new box'd unit, correctly set up for direct fit on a Fabia.

That is an amazingly good price, and IMHO I would never bother refitting a standard one from the dealer at that price, frankly, unless it's under warranty

This is the stronger Garrett unit as well, as an out right purchase brand new.

Interesting. What effect would this have on a remapped (generic) Fabia?

What turbo's fitted to the PD170? I've read it might be a vc. Could this be an even better replacement than the vb?

it is a gt1749vc, but wont fit the 8v pd as the manifold is different, and the actuator has an electric feedback plug

Am I right in thinking that the turbo on the Fabia vRS is the same as that on the PD105? Because on the new mkII Fabia and mkII Octavia they both appear to have KKK KP39 turbos!!

Derv Dr, is there an advantage in having this turbo when in comes to decatting and remapping.
Im talking about overspin and self distruction etc.

I may be getting a big turbo conversion from yourself anyway, but just a little pricy for my £ at the moment.
