Default Up-rated PD Injectors

We can now supply up-rated PD TDi injectors on an exchange basis, we do 2 specs, up to 225 bhp, which are an up-grade for a 100 or 115 PD and up to 260 bhp.

The injectors are fully re-built and cost £795 plus VAT exchange.

They are far more complex and they are really expensive to re-build, I think new standard ones are £330 plus VAT or something

It's a full pump/injector assembly rather than 'just' the injector part. Was going to do this myself but circumstances forced my hand in a different direction for now

Can see how they fit here..

You can just see the adjuster at the top of the rocker arm.

We now have some further up-rated injectors for the 1.9 PD, they are 100% larger than stock 130/150 injectors and will support well over 300 bhp. The down side is that the starting is a little poor and the mpg is not good! So maybe a very very small number of people who will be interested!! We also do a set of 12% uprated PD140 injectors as well

I imagine they're a bit smokey too? 100% That's about 180 mg compared to stock 90 odd.

12% sounds ok though. I don't think PD injectors need "much" to get more. I think around 25% to 30% is OK to get the extra fuel needed once the stock injectors have been maxxed out.

I didn't realise until I got my Haynes manual that the green piston itself is the thing that provides the compression - quite neat IMO!

the stock injectors on a PD130/150 are about 66 per stroke, we offer 90-92 and 125 per stroke.

On a PD130 what is the realistic maximum bhp for stock injectors?

Roughly, what can the injectors from a pd105 handle in terms of bhp?

Thanks,

Not much more than about 155/160. Beyond that you need to be sorting out pd130 nozzles, or race injectors similar to what I have / Dervdoctor offers.

Be sat down when you go ask the dealers. Something stupid like £400 + vat EACH INJECTOR!

Holy Monkey!! That is seriously expensive! Will either have to think of something else or start some concerted effort towards saving up for them. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated!

Second hand are usually fine. And if you fancy going all out just take up the offer of the author of the OP.

Second hand or you can get them elsewhere but I'd rather not post that here as DervDoctor section, and I'm sure he'll be able to sort ya out a cracking deal
