| Hi everyone, i have stumbled across this add " Vw/Audi/seat/skoda diagnostic kit, including dealer level, Vagcom software and USB to 0BD2 cable" What should i be looking for here, i.e to make sure its genuine ross-tech? How would i know if it fits my car? Does this include everything i would need from looking at the add or is there other thing i need to be asking. oh yeah they want £90 for it which is why I'm a bit sceptical. cheers |

| IMO, it's highly unlikely to be genuine. -Uwe- |

| Pictures are good if you are intimately familiar with the product. For example, I can say with 99.999% confidence that the interface in the pictures above is genuine. But I've also seen some damn good fakes. It's a bit like determining whether a watch that says "Rolex" on the dial is real. A factory representative can tell you instantly by looking at it, but you might not be able to, even if you've seen good pictures of a real one. What I suggest you do instead: Ask them seller outright if it's genuine, whether he's got an invoice or receipt from us or one of our authorized resellers, and especially whether it works with the latest Beta version (currently 711.1). -Uwe- |

Also, there is Beta 711.1 which has Data Version 20080108 (but there are some things about this data version that aren't compatible with software version 704). -Uwe- | |

| Will do. Looking for a diagnose system. But preferably one that would suit Toyota, Volvo, MB as well as VAG. Quote:

| If "upscale" means lots of functionality and you're looking for coverage of multiple brands, then you're going to end up spending serious money. But multi-brand tools often do not work well (if at all) on the latest cars. -Uwe- |
