Tw*t

Well, I think it's a coil pack- although they seem like weird errors for a coil pack?

Log1, just as normal- missfire on cyl 2

http://www.aoyt95.dsl.pipex.com/1.CSV

Log2, swapped over 1st + 2nd coilpack, missfire on cyl 1

http://www.aoyt95.dsl.pipex.com/2.CSV

Got to be the coilpack at fault? I suppose I could wait and see if coilpack two blows.

Anyway, cheapest place to get a coil pack- do they recommend replacing all four? Or is 1 fine.

Should I not drive it until I get it replaced?

Check out the logs, it didn't seem to happen much. I can catch the train if needs be.... though.

Really can't be affording a new cat.

Coil pack from the dealer around £25 - £30, got one yesterday for a customer - now on the R version.

Looks like you have aproblem with the MAF as well.

Thanks fordfan.

Here's is a log from my maf, reading didn't seem to change even when I floored it;

Is this normal?

Apparently fuses can go, not sure which one though.

It looks suspect to me, too low by a factor of 10. Reminds me of the time I went on a test drive with our workshop foreman to log the MAF readings on a car. After about a mile I noticed that they were not changing that much, we had a look under the bonnet and found that someone had forgot to plug it in - needless to say I didn,t let him forget it for quite a long time

Going to ring up the dealer tomorrow and see how much they charge for one

Does look like maf fault as at around 740rpm mine reads around 3.10g/s.

Get a spare coil pack and keep it in the car.

Readings all depend on how much throttle you give it but i agree get a spare coil pack.I carry a spare with me at all times and a little tool kit in the boot in case its the little sod under the vac cannister .

Good thinking, I think I may get a new maf and a couple coil packs... one to replace the one that I think is a little faulty and one spare.

*Kisses £100+ away*

Replacing one with the new N version shouldn't cause a problem if the older ones are a much earlier revision should it?
