Did your car react in anyway? My car seems to run fine. Did you feel any loss of power or any other strange thing? | |

| Seemed to run fine but had some other major problems at same time - don't *think* they were related but I would advise do it very soon nonetheless! (camshaft position sensor)

| I get the same 17748 error on my RS. Is it enough to replace the Camshaft Positions Sensor? Anyone here has a guide on how to do it? Regards, Martin |

| Has the cambelt been changed? That corrolation fault is not a sensor fault usually, its picking up that the cam and crank are out of sync.

| I suspect the cam sensor was changed on Tavia 4x4's car for a different reason.

| I agree with Lummox as it a synchronisation fault the belt will be a tooth out. Had this one before from experience, the technician swore blind that the new belt ent on in exactly the correct position, on inspection it was a tooth out. |

| This was found to be the case in the other thread, its fairly obvious when you look at what the fault is actually saying. Its not saying there is a fault with the sensors, its saying there is a fault in what the sensors are seeing.
