|  help needed vag and vista ive just got my vag lead and 501 software loaded on the computor and carnt get the lead to work. every time i go to test the usb lead vag crashes and wont reload can you help. ime running windows vista basic and not sure what else Last edited by 4x4mark; 15-06-2008 at 21:40. |

| Re: help needed Section 1.14 here: Ross-Tech: VAG-COM: FAQ Page 1 implies that the older version may not work on Vista. Have you tried running it in compatability mode for XP? |

| Re: help needed the software works its just when i go to pair the cable up in the options mode and then select com port when i click on usb and test vag crashes its version 409.1 not 501 sorry |
