Help To Remove Service INSP On 2000 Octavia

Can someone please tell me how to Remove Service INSP On 2000 Octavia with Vag-Com. If possible a step by step would be most appreciative

You can do it without VAGCOM. It tells you how in the manual (sorry, can't remember off the top of my head what the procedure is)

Select -> 17-Instruments -> Adaptation -> Channel 02.

New Value = 0, then Test/Save.

Doing it via the buttons on the clocks will reset it too, but will turn off long-life/flexible intervals and revert to fixed. Doing it with VAG-COM won't.

Thanks Rob but for some strange reason the manual method wouldn't work, but Uwe thanks got it sorted now
