| 1 would be vrs. as 1 is heaviest and 6 is lightest.

| Not sure what mine is set at but I drove the mother in laws Megane at the weekend and the steering weight was a dream in comparison with mine. It was nice and light but not over assisted. I'll be getting the dealer to lighten mine up a bit at the next service I think.

| Doh, I read the list that was on here wrong...I thought that the RS should be 5 and I think mine is set at 5. What value should the vRS normally come with from factory ???? And is there a particular reason why they wouldn't want the vRS to be 5 if its just a weighting ??

| well mine reads five also, maybe then there is no difference with the Octavia. I know that the Fabia readings were standard at 4 and gti (or vRS) at 1.

, I can't see a reason apart from the feeling for it to be different if its just a weighting ?? unless its to do with setup, that it needs to be different.Where did the info which was previously posted before stating that 5 was NON vRS ? Was it on the screen ? Just wondering

| all the setting is is steering weight (or assistance). If you have trouble turning the steering wheel, it can be set lighter by the dealer. The info about how to do it on the new Octavia was Ross-tech iirc.was from ross-tech
