Resetting Service Indicator

Hi all, had the Octy RS serviced a couple of weeks ago by a non VAG dealer. Can I use VAG-Com to reset the service light?

Sure, VAG-COM works like the dealer tool here. Just use cluster > adaptation channel 002 to reset it, it will keep the flexible intervals - you may check that afterwards in channel 45.

Hi,

Unfortunately I cant get that to work. 002 is not a valid channel it says so I tried 02.

Read = 128
Click TEST = ERROR
Am I doing something wrong?

Its a 2003 Octavia vRS
