| Re: service indicator octavia 2001 tdi Sure it can be reset using VAG-COM. Intervals depend on what it is set to, flexible (Longlife) or fixed intervals.

I'm not completely sure of the exact procedure, but I'm sure its in the forum somewhere. My local (backstreet) garage did it for me, he had a very large book containing this type of info for every make of vehicle.

| Re: service indicator octavia 2001 tdi Using the "press'n'hold" method works fine for cars set to fixed servie intervals. In cases where your car is set to flexible intervals the "press'n'hold" method will change the setting back to fixed intervals.
